    Description


    The Supervisor of Operations will oversee and monitor the workflow, order supplied, maintain equipment in the office, and assist team to effectively manage duties.

    Collaborate with Office Manager on staffing and escalated matters, including employee relations and performance metric concerns. They will be responsible for the smooth operation of the day-to-day activities.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide front line support for front desk staff, clinical support staff and other related care team members on service-specific support and providing in the moment education on process
    • Manages day-to-day operations and workflow for assigned centers, providing direction and serving as a resource for the care team.
    • Responsible for onboarding and assimilation of new care team members
    • Hires new staff and partners with leads and Senior Patient Service Representatives to create onboarding plans.
    • Manages performance and team dynamics daily, directly addresses patient concerns, and promotes communication within the workplace. Motivates, recognize and engages staff.
    • Provide oversight for center operations and distribute the daily work equitably. Coordinate coverage as needed.
    • Engages team for feedback and opportunities to improve, bring together work teams to develop solutions, and present recommendations to leadership & team
    • Audits current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency and compliance with organizational policies and procedures
    • Demonstrates good customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, and visitors. Demonstrates leadership in communication and teamwork
    • Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupts timely patient flow through site
    • Contributed to the development of new methods and regular goal-based objectives requiring planning and execution of projects
    • Promote community give back initiatives and generate excitement within the department
    • Adhere to patient care needs and the core values of Premier Community HealthCare to a provide best-in-class patient experience
    • Work towards attaining department goals and drive Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA)
    • Other duties as assignedSupervisory responsibilities: Directly oversee leads and all office personnel

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Basic understanding of health care administration and differentiation of Federally Qualified Health Care (FQHC) system to effectively navigate resources.
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Approachable and demonstrated compassion and empathy
    • Ability to identify and solve problems independently
    • Knowledge of practice management and EHR systems, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and describe processes and procedures to the care team and patients.
    • Excellent grammar, spelling and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a physician office or outpatient setting.
    • Demonstrated experience leading projects or people.
    • Obtain and maintain Epic certification/ annual compliance training throughout employment.
