Are you open to working 2nd Shift?We are looking for youDescription:GeoLogics is currently seeking a Electronics Test Technician with a Secret Clearancein Canonsburg, PA, to support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.
    Required Education & Experience:
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance
    • An Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
    • Knowledge and hands-on experience with: digital and analog circuits, power supplies, mixed signal circuits, assembly, test and debug.
    • Knowledge and hands-on experience with: Electronic test equipment, machine tools and materials.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Clear computer and test equipment knowledge
    • Strong, self-motivated team member who can thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
    • Previous Department of Defense experience is a plus.

    Duties:
    • Build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify development and production electronic assemblies, equipment, systems and related products.
    • Apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, technical mathematics, electronic and electrical testing and physics to solve technical problems.
    • Diagnose cause of electronic or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
    • Communicate on a daily basis with responsible engineers to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
    • Support design, quality, reliability and manufacturing engineering teams.
    • Assist with development of wiring diagrams, wire lists, assembly drawings and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion.
    • Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals and knowledge of electronic systems and components.
    • Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
    • Operate/use basic machine tools to fabricate parts for development and production test equipment is a plus.
    • Willing to work different shifts and overtime as required
