- Functions as an information systems management consultant to senior management, department management, and use stakeholders developing and demonstrating a basic level of understanding of operational workflow analysis and systems design.
- Develops and demonstrates basic Epic system build capabilities and can independently complete assigned build tasks.
- Develops and demonstrates an understanding of the Epic testing process, including basic script development, execution, error identification and correction, and completion processes.
- Understands and routinely complies with established Departmental and Epic change control process and procedures.
- Completes assigned system maintenance tasks in a timely and accurate manner, escalating related issues.
- Demonstrates a developing and basic level of system documentation capabilities.
- Understands and routinely complies with established Departmental and Epic ITSM/ITIL service and support processes including but not limited to issue, problem, asset, and time accounting management process and procedures.
- Demonstrates developing and basic system trouble-shooting and diagnostic capabilities for assigned areas of support.
- Completes assigned work is a timely, efficient, and effective manner for primary areas of responsibility. Begins to demonstrate the potential to complete more complex and advanced individual work and understand enterprise system workflows and system considerations and requirements.
- Works collaboratively with group / team members and begins to develop collaborative work relationships with others in the department.

- Fulfills On-Call responsibilities as assigned.

- Basic understanding of hospital and perioperative workflow and design
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must possess or achieve one relevant Epic certification (OpTime or Anesthesia) within first year of employment
- 2 years of relevant experience: Information Technology, business analyst, operational super user
- Relevant work experience in a perioperative setting preferred
