    Position Overview:

    As a Provisioning Engineer at Dallas location, you will be instrumental in the successful provisioning, configuration, and change management of Managed Routing and LAN switching services for business customers. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure the efficient deployment and operation of network infrastructure.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provisioning: Coordinate the provisioning of Managed Routing and LAN switching services in alignment with customer requirements, project timelines, and service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure accurate configuration and activation of network elements to support customer connectivity needs.
    • Management: Manage changes to network configurations, policies, and procedures in accordance with change management processes and best practices. Evaluate change requests, assess potential impacts, and implement changes while minimizing service disruptions and risks.
    • Processing: Process customer orders for new services, modifications, and upgrades using Client's provisioning systems and workflows. Verify order details, validate technical requirements, and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill orders accurately and promptly.
    • Management: Configure and provision routing and switching devices, circuits, and access points to meet customer connectivity requirements. Validate configurations against design specifications, network standards, and security policies.
    • Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of provisioned services to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with technical requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
    • Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of provisioning activities, including service orders, configuration changes, test results, and customer communications. Generate reports to summarize provisioning status, service activation metrics, and operational performance.
    • Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during the provisioning process, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations. Communicate proactively with customers to ensure a positive experience and timely resolution of issues.
    • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, sales engineers, and solution architects to plan and execute provisioning projects. Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and customer stakeholders to align resources, manage dependencies, and achieve project objectives.
    • Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency enhancement within the provisioning lifecycle and change management processes. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery capabilities.
    • Documentation, reports and perform knowledge transfer to Service Assurance teams.

    Qualifications:-

    • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
    • Previous experience in telecommunications provisioning, network operations, or related roles
    • Familiarity with Managed Routing and LAN switching technologies, protocols, and architectures.
    • Proficiency in provisioning systems, order management tools, and network management platforms.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIP, etc.) are advantageous.
    • Flexibility work in 24x7 shifts expected, if required.

    GC and US citizens prefered for this role.
