Texas Oncology is seeking a full-time Clinical Medical Physicist to join a group of five radiation oncology centers located in the Denton, TX clinic at 2600 Scripture Rd Denton, Texas Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country and has approximately 600+ providers in 220+ sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

While operationally independent day-to-day, each center collaborates as five fully staffed, Texas Oncology clinics in the North Dallas area (McKinney, Plano West, Denison, Denton and Flower Mound) through sharing of a common, single database for record and verify, Eclipse treatment planning (conventional and SRS/SBRT), Rad Calc 2nd check program, Profiler, MapCheck3, SNC Routine, and 3D scanning system.
Six Varian linacs, three Nucletron micorSelectron HDRs, two Nucletron Flexitron HDRs, three GE CTs, two PET/CTs and 2 mobile PET/CTs are used to treat an average of patients a day at the five sites.
The Team:
Combined, the fully staffed region will consist of five board certified radiation oncologists, eight ABR certified physicists, six certified medical dosimetrists, thirteen radiation therapists, and five chief therapists.

Candidate will also cover one additional pod site part of the week and coverage to the North Dallas POD sites as needed.
