- Provide transportation for student athletes and coaches to and from various athletic events. This includes events outside of the county and overnight stays possibly required.
- Perform various transportation duties, including operating a shuttle service on the college campus and driving students, athletes and coaches to various events. Duties may include overnight trips.
- Perform routine maintenance on college vehicles, including checking the oil, fluid levels, tire pressure and interior/exterior cleaning. Inspects equipment for more serious problems and refers issues to college's Maintenance Department.
- Maintain gymnasium by periodically dusting the floors, picking up and disposing of debris.
- Keep and update records for out of service and in-service facilities, plants, and equipment due to maintenance. Also includes records of equipment performance.
- Prepare for athletic events, including but not limited to moving, setting up and cleaning up chairs, bleachers, coolers and various types of athletic equipment.
- Transport materials and equipment to, from and within storage areas and operating areas.
- Receive, make or transfer telephone calls.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum one year of related experience
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- High school diploma or GED
- Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
- Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds
- Reach and grasp objects
- Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Identify and distinguish colors and shades of color
- Communicate information orally and in writing
- Ability to hear
- Receive and understand information through oral and written communication
- Proofread and check documents for accuracy
- Work with equipment or perform procedures where carelessness may result in injury
- Experience exposure to uncomfortable work environment due to extreme temperature, noise level, and other conditions
- Operate motor vehicle
