    Description
    Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Findlay, Ohio
    • Located in Findlay, OH 45 minutes to Toledo, OH Position Details
    • Full time; Permanent
    • We welcome residents, new grads and experienced physicians to consider our Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity
    • Responsible for the Level IIB Special Care Nursery
    • Emergency Department consults, limited outpatient medical consults
    • Newborn care, attendance at high risk deliveries, inpatient pediatric care
    • Average of 1,000 deliveries/year
    • Manage infants born at 32 weeks and above, CPAP, Surfactant and ventilator care
    • Average daily census of 12 (average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 8 well newborns and 4 special care)
    • Six, 24 hour shifts, 6 per 28 day block
    • Hospitalist service admits patients
    • Nationwide Childrens Hospital collaborative partnership
    • Offers access to pediatric specialists, pediatric research and clinical trials to NW Ohio
    • BVHS physicians receive advanced education, training, direct consultation with Nationwide Childrens specialists
    • Malpractice, health + life insurance, CME, 401k (4% match)

    Findlay High School is a comprehensive high school with an enrollment of over 1,600 students in grades 9-12- Findlay's middle school students attend one of three middle schools: Donnell, Central or Glenwood. There are four intermediate buildings, four primary buildings, and one K-5 building within the school system
