    CDL A City P&D Driver Opportunities

    We are currently seeking CDL A City Pick-up and Delivery Drivers for our Tonawanda, NY Service Center.

    Job Summary

    The successful candidate will be responsible for city pick-up and delivery services using a Class A Commercial Vehicle.

    Responsibilities

    1. Pick up and deliver freight to designated locations within the city.
    2. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to R+L Carriers' standards of appearance and safety.
    3. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles are in good working condition.
    4. Adhere to hours of service regulations and company policies.
    5. Operate a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently, navigating urban environments.

    Requirements

    • 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
    • A good driving record and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
    • Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

    Benefits

    • Competitive hourly rate starting at $30.56 per hour.
    • A variety of shifts available, Monday through Friday.
    • Home every day.
    • Available Paid Time Off (PTO) can be used immediately upon hire.
