PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) - Pinnacle Home Care, Florida

We are currently looking for an OT to to join our Sarasota team on a PRN basis. Position Summary: As an Occupational Therapist, you'll provide care according to standards for occupational therapy services, adhering to all conditions outlined in the Service Agreement and the state Occupational Therapy Practice Act.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' functional status and home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
• Develop treatment programs, establish goals for improved function, and communicate plans to the care team.
• May teach or retrain patients in daily activities, fabricate splints, and instruct in the use of adaptive equipment.
• Maintain clinical records, communicate changes in patient's condition, and coordinate care with other professionals.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensed as an OT in Florida.
• Two years of clinical experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license and insured automobile.
