- Cultivate training and employee development programs for the department and manage the training and development staff to ensure deadlines, projects, assignments, tasks and goals are met.
- Oversee all Learning and Development programs and functions within the department.
- Engage in training/employee development consulting (including but not limited to needs assessments, focus groups, with subject matter experts to determine training needs and appropriate solutions.
- Deliver on-going reports that track results, and impact. Use the information to detect trends/insights and adjust the strategy to optimize impact.
- Drive a cross-functional, collaborative culture by building a trusted partnership with members of the Workforce Solutions team and all cross functional department leadership.
- Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive hiring to meet the department's objectives.
- Assist in change management efforts through the department.
- Lead or participate in inter-departmental committees, initiatives or special assignments.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in business or related field with 2-3 year experience in overseeing training/employee development programs or equivalent education and experience.
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience implementing organizational change efforts.
- Experience coordinating with executive leadership to translate business needs into sustainable solutions.
- A collaborative decision-making and work style; strong interpersonal, high levels of emotional intelligence, organizational and presentation skills, as well as excellent analytical skills.
- Expert ability to create presentations/programs and training materials.
- Strong computer skills including aptitude with Microsoft products and the ability to learn other software applications as needed.
