    TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER, BIONUTRIENTS

    This is a home-based role and can be located in the Midwest region in the US OR Northwestern region in Europe

    Do you have the technical, process, scale-up, and market savvy to help us grow? Can you translate customer pain in a way that our technical teams can convert into new product ideas? We are looking for a key player to join our leadership team to help us open doors and create value.

At Sensient BioNutrients, we develop and manufacture yeast-derived and natural extracts for use in Human, Plant, and Animal Nutrition applications. Our nutrient sources are specifically designed to solve the growing challenges faced by fermentation experts in delivering the right nutrients for their applications. Creating natural and sustainable solutions are driving our growth.

    What you'll do:
    • FERMENTATION PROBLEM SOLVING: With your strong expertise in industrial fermentation, you will help solve our customer's most critical fermentation challenges, specifically helping customers optimize their process using Sensient ingredients.
    • INNOVATION: You will play a key role in the development of new, innovative product components for complex nutrients. Work with Sensient R&D to develop and deliver media optimization protocols in support of new product development. Will coordinate with internal and external teams from a technical and commercial standpoint to support business
    • BECOME OUR GLOBAL SUPERSTAR: Represent Sensient at global conferences and maintain active participation in the trade organization. Present technical seminars and speak at association meetings.
    What you'll bring:
    • A master's degree in engineering or sciences.
    • Several years' experience and expertise in fermentation, lab, process development, scale-up, and downstream processing. Process analysis, experimental design, and applied statistics (a black belt would be a plus).
    • Experience with diverse products and processes.
    • In addition to this, you thrive in a customer-facing environment and are willing to travel more than 50%.
