    Job Description

    Leads team to deliver business intelligence solutions in support of key Clinical, Quality, Operational, and Financial initiatives.

    Acts as a business and technical consultant, translating customer and system needs into long-term, adaptable, and technical data & analytics solutions.

    Builds an effective team, mentors and develops staff, and educates staff on best practices. Facilitates prioritization of tasks, requests, projects, and requirements among competing business interests and communicates effectively with senior leaders.

    Experience


    • 3+ years of experience developing business intelligence solutions including data extraction, modeling, and visualization
    • Experience using software such as SQL Server Reporting Services, QlikView, QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R
    Preferred Qualifications


    • Experience in healthcare data & analytics
    • Experience leading or managing a team and/or projects
    • Certification(s) in Epic (EMR) and/or Workday data & analytics environments
    Education


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent technical training and experience

    • Ability to translate business questions and requirements into analytics solutions
    • Proficient in SQL and relational and multidimensional designs
    • Must possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, complete reliability, and intuitive understanding of mathematical/statistical relationships and trends
    Job Responsibilities


    • Oversees the entire life cycle for developing business intelligence solutions, including scope, data, presentation, analytics, quality, documentation, support, and timeliness.
    • Coordinates with various business and technical groups whose support is needed to build or deploy business intelligence/data warehouse projects.
    • Facilitates prioritization of projects among competing business interests.
    • Creates a robust, sustainable architecture that supports business requirements and provides for adaptability and expansion.
    • Translates strategic designs into actionable development plans and achievable/sustainable information deliverables.
    • Performs all aspects of leading a team including training, developing, directing work and processes, monitoring performance, and recognizing employees
    • Mentors team members to encourage personal and professional growth.
