• Columbus Highland Consulting Group is a National Executive Recruiting firm that specializes in recruiting top performers in the construction industry.

We are working with a well-established General Contractor in the Columbus, OH area that has an immediate need for an experienced Project Manager.

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience of construction management working with the construction of data centers.

This position will complete a new data center from award to closeout.

This project has almost a 2-year timeline, and they need someone that has experience in the construction of the space, implementation of all of the equipment, the tie in with several buildings, and the commissioning process.

This is an on-site position and provides the chance to work with some of the larger players in this space.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manages and supervises all phases of assigned projectsPrepare and manage schedulesEstimate change ordersNegotiate all change orders and maintain change order logsManage project budgets and approves all expensesContract AdministrationBuyout of subcontracts & EquipmentInterface with the owner on all projects assignedAssemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documentsPerform project punch-list inspection(s), in coordination with Superintendents and the owner's representative, and issue punch list to all relevant subcontractorsStay in contact with past clients for repeat work
