• State Licensure Requirements: Candidates must meet the Illinois State Board of Education's requirements for paraprofessionals, which may include a high school diploma or equivalent and pletion of a paraprofessional training program.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional activities and providing support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, reinforcing lessons and helping them understand concepts.
• Provide assistance with classroom management, behavior management, and student supervision.
• Support students with special needs in accessing the curriculum, following IEPs, and participating in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
