Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Endoscopy department at UNM Hospitals. As a valued member of our team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients of all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

In this role, you will be responsible for administering medication, documenting clinical findings, assisting with special tests and procedures, and implementing and documenting individualized care plans. You will also act as a role model to promote a positive work environment and ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months
Basic Arrhythmia Certification within 1 year
PALS within 6 months of position
Conscience Certification within 1 year of position

No prior experience required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical Conditions:

Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.

Working conditions:

Sig Hazard: Chemicals, BioHazardous Materials require PPE.
