    Description
    We are seeking a Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Programmatic Research Engineer to analyze and apply principles and methodologies of research, capability development, and various engineering disciplines to perform program management functions for complex capabilities development programs and projects to meet current and future capability development initiatives
    Ideal candidates will be experienced with WMD, Research and Development, Program/Project Management, Engineering, Acquisition, Contracting, Testing and Evaluation, and Special Operations
    This position supports USSOCOM on Ft
    Liberty, NC
    Must have a Top Secret clearance Must be a U.S
    Citizen

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct life-cycle capability development research, analysis, and program management of assigned programs and projects
    • Develop documentation that supports standard acquisition, contract, and programmatic requirements
    Such as Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Document (CDD), Requirements Worksheets (RWS), Fielding and Deployment Release (F&DR), Statement of Work (SOW), Single Acquisition Management Plan (SAMP), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), After Action Review, and Analysis of Alternatives


    • Draft and review message traffic for assigned programs and projects to meet the intent of assigned programs and projects, deconflict irregularities, analyze programmatically, and ensure accuracy
    • Apply and incorporate processes to support assigned programs and projects
    Processes may be government-established or unique to an individual project


    • Provide recommendations, as requested, for use in the development of POM and spending plans as they pertain to assigned programs and projects
    • Serve as the engineer advisor to Government personnel with systems engineering responsibility in designated areas of capability development, adaptation, and transition to fielded capabilities
    • Assist with planning, and conducting experimental computational, and full-scale engineering or scientific research investigations
    Analyze results to identify trends and trade space relevant to future technology development and program planning

    Coordinate requirements with the cross-functional development team in the formative stages of requirements definition, development of thresholds and objectives, program initiation, project design, technical development and feasibility, project implementation, and management of ongoing programs Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
    • Minimum of 16 years of WMD support or equivalent
    • 10+ years of Program Management or equivalent
    • DAU PM level II, DAU T&E level II, and DAU Systems Engineering Level II or equivalent certified (level III or equivalent preferred for each)
