Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team at Cranberry Park at Milford.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices according to established standards.
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Follow all health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
Assist with laundry duties as required.
Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any malfunctions.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Basic communication skills.
Work Environment:
This position involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
