Summary Description: This position is responsible for driving strategic talent and development initiatives, which includes leading the companys talent practices in assessing skills, capabilities, and performance, and providing programs and tools to identify, attract, develop, and retain top talent. This position will lead the strategy and ongoing oversight of the companys talent and performance management needs and will develop plans that result in the achievement of business objectives through enhanced performance.
Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to develop, implement and maintain the companys talent and development strategy and processes. This role is designed to enhance performance at individual, team, and organization levels for Family Member (employees) success. Collaborates with leaders and Family Members by providing consultative support on all talent and development needs.
Key leadership role over multiple, resource-intense strategic programs with significant impact on future operations
Significantly responsible to balance resources and champion decisions to accommodate competing priorities that broadly affect functional success
Responsible for the success of all strategic programs in the portfolio
Performs work directly related to the management and/or general business operations of the Company and/or its customers
Manages a customarily recognized group or sub-group of the Company
Performs work while exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance to the Company
Individual makes decisions or recommendations relied upon by those that make decision on possible courses of action important to the Company
Supervises and directs work performance of the team and makes decisions or recommendation as to terms and conditions of employment for two or more full-time team members

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelors degree or any equivalent combination of educational and work experience required
Masters degree preferred
Experience:
5+ years experience supervising others at various organizational levels, preferably at a regional or higher level
Level 1:
9+ experience preferably in restaurant, retail, hospitality and/or similar industry
Level 2:
10+ years experience preferably in restaurant, retail, hospitality and/or similar industry
Level 3:
11+ years experience preferably in restaurant, retail, hospitality and/or similar industry
Knowledge, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Visio (as applicable)
Proficiency in Workday (as applicable)
Advanced ability to communicate, influence and negotiate decisions while motivating staff
Advanced ability to create and implement given strategic direction
Ability to work in a team environment
Professional Certification:
Certification on the delivery of recognized personality, behavioral and/or cognitive assessment tool(s) is preferred (examples include Predictive Index, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, DiSC, etc.).
Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:
Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
Must be able to work a full-time schedule and work outside of normal business hours when necessary
Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
