    As part of our team, your opportunities are limitless. ResponsibilitiesByers Engineering, a MasTec company, is seeking a full-time Outside Plant Fielder in support of a large-scale Telecommunications project.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    OSP Fielder will complete site visits within given market Take legible field notes for the design of construction drawings in aerial, buried, underground, and building applicationsAnalyze work site and design requests then determine scope of work to be completedDeliver projects within timeline and ensure quality of work completedPay attention to detail and communicate any concerns or updates with the OSP DesignerInteract with internal and external customers- represent Byers and our client in a professional mannerAdhere to all company safety practices and policies Qualifications

    Desired Skills:

    Understanding of Telecom, Fiber, and Outside Plant preferred but not requiredRelevant experience with utilities, cabling, or construction also consideredExcellent communication for daily interaction with various teamsAbove average penmanship for hand-drawn field notesQualifications: High school diploma and completed courses from technical school or community college preferred, but not requiredMust be authorized to work in the U.S.

    Qualify on pre-employment screening, including non-negligent driving recordValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredWilling to be trained and adapt to changing industry trends- continue education for Engineering design and best practices
