- Manage the IEP through conducting independent reviews of all operational divisions on a regularly scheduled basis. (50%)
- Coordinate efforts of Frontier departments during biennial IOSAs and act as the Lead Safety Auditor during required IATA in-house audits. (25%)
- Maintain required surveillance of current Codeshare partners. Coordinate future new and renewal Codeshare approvals with FAA AFS-52 and the Department of Transportation. (15%)
- Assist the Director, Safety with other duties as needs arise. (10%)
- Attend periodic Safety related conferences/meetings in order to stay abreast of the latest industry safety standards.
- Develop and coordinate internal auditing training as well as scheduling outside auditor training such as IOSA Qualified Auditor training as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience at a Part 121 air carrier, 3 years of which should be in an auditing/evaluation-related capacity
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, aviation safety or similar discipline; combination of relevant experience and education considered in lieu of degree requirement
- Experience in IEP program development and administration - preferred
- Training and experience with IEP and IOSA programs- preferred
- Operational experience as pilot, mechanic or dispatcher - helpful
- Excellent knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) ISARPS (Standards & Reviews Practices)
- Advanced knowledge of Safety Management System requirements, policy/program development, risk management, as well as safety assurance, reporting and promotion
- Excellent writing skills including manual writing, report writing and correspondence with government agencies
- Ability to make formal presentations including advocacy of cultural change to large and small groups
- Ability to instruct in a classroom setting
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including database and spreadsheet programs
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and audits

What Will You Be Doing?
The Manager of Safety Compliance IEP is responsible for maintaining the Frontier, IEP/QA (Internal Evaluation Program/Quality Assurance), IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) Certification and Codeshare requirements.
