MLT / Medical Technologist *SIGN ON BONUS* (FT)Varied
The MLT has direct patient contact if performing phlebotomy, pediatric sweat chloride testing, bone marrow assistance and/or therapeutic phlebotomy procedures.
The scope of care may include the testing performed on neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patients.The MLT supports the Laboratory's Performance Improvement Programs to ensure services exceed quality and customer service standards.
The responsibility of supporting a self-directed laboratory team concept is demonstrated by having a positive attitude, willing to give and accept constructive criticism, always maintaining a high-quality work standard and willing to accept other duties as assigned.
INDLTREPORTING RELATIONSHIPSee Table of Organization.EDUCATION EXPERIENCECompletion of a clinical laboratory training program approved by the Health Education and Welfare Academic and Sciences Program prior to 1980 or the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as of 1980; orMeet the CLIA Standard; Testing personnel qualification 42CFR for moderate complexity testing and 42CFR for high complexity testing.
Certification by the ASCP, AMT, or other organization deemed comparable is not required but preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent.
