    Position Overview

    Responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy practice, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and corporate policies. Take charge of pharmacy department financial performance, manage the budget, minimize unauthorized overtime, conduct staff training, provide top-notch customer service, handle prescription pricing, control inventory, and deliver corporate-approved clinical services.     Key Responsibilities

    • Perform all staff pharmacist duties and lead the pharmacy team, managing customer complaints efficiently and optimizing workflows to reduce wait times
    • Develop, supervise, and support sales plans and initiatives outlined by the division pharmacy department
    • Execute all necessary tasks of a registered pharmacist within the employing state's requirements and maintain legal and company compliance
    • Guide the pharmacy team to meet warehouse targets, minimize overstock, streamline prescriptions, and ensure staff are trained in proper ordering procedures
    • Adhere to corporate controlled substance procedures and manage third-party or insurance profitability
    • Efficiently schedule pharmacy staff to control labor costs, maintain records, and achieve budgeted goals
    • Engage in detailing visits to local physicians, support public health initiatives, and travel as needed
    • Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback
    • Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or recognized as an equivalent Foreign Pharmacist graduate
      • 2+ years of retail experience or equivalent
      • Minimum age of 21
      • Active and good-standing pharmacy license
      • Demonstrated leadership abilities
      • Strong communication and customer service skills
      • Commitment to confidentiality and continuous education
      • Participation in clinical programs

      Preferred Experience/Education

      • Relevant Pharmacy Board Certification(s)
      • Combination of education and business management experience

      Education: Bachelor's Degree Mandatory

      Travel Requirement: Up to 25%

      Certifications/Licenses: Pharmacy Board License
