    :


    JOB PURPOSE:

    Coordinates the delivery ofquality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle,as well as
    operational issues during his/her shift.
    Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
    Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staffconcerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves
    as resourcefor guidance and assistance to thestaff.
    Qualifications:


    MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

    Graduate of a nursingprogram.


    MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

    One (1) year of nursingexperience in a hospital settingrequired.


    MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:

    Current License in the State ofGeorgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC MultistateLicense.
    BLS certificationrequired.


    ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

    Two (2) or more years ofnursing experience in a hospital settingpreferred.
    Bachelors degree preferred.
    Advancedcertification in field of specialty, if applicable (seeaddendum).
    Demonstrated clinical competency.
