Location: HYBRID - Torrance, CA
Description:
This high-velocity Logistics and Warehouse Specialist position will help organize and support the company's day-to-day Logistics needs via advanced technical skills (spreadsheets, databases), fantastic time management, as well as their practical experience. This role will schedule and oversee both International and Domestic inbound orders & containers, process import documents, and align with Customs clearance requirements. In addition, will ensure Inventory records are properly maintained via the company's internal database/ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Essential Functions:
+ Maintain and update PO status up until products are fully received @ warehouse, including reconciling of discrepancies.
+ Work with Vendors, Customs Brokers, and Forwarders to arrange both Intl & Domestic shipments by providing clear and detailed booking instructions, freight choices, and shipping documents.
+ Ensure systematic cohesion of Product and Order info as well as Inventory levels in all systems (ERP, WMS, Shopify)
+ Apply Harmonized System (HS) codes to products and complete Importer Security Filings (ISF)
+ Enforce Vendor Guidelines via chargebacks/credit requests and files Proof of Deliveries
+ Day-to-day Point of Contact for internal inquiries regarding Receivables
+ Support positive business relationships with partners while being mindful of internally set goals; maintain a professional mindset and awareness of cultural differences.
+ Warehouse visits and supporting special projects.
+ Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
+ Logistics, Microsoft Excel, ERP System, Supply Chain, WMS, Microsoft Dynamics, Inventory Management
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ 3+ years Logistics Analyst or in a comparable role handling International and domestic transportation, familiarity with import custom compliance, HS codes, working with custom brokers.
+ Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably D365
+ Extremely proficient with and handling of mass data
+ Full understanding of Harmonized System (HS) codes and Importer Security Filings (ISF)
+ Experience with CTPAT regulations and process
+ Deep understanding of Supply Chain Concepts, order management, distribution, and transportation processes.
