    About This Role:

The equine internship at the Veterinary Health Center is a 12-month post-DVM clinical program that provides clinical training in equine surgery, internal medicine, theriogenology and field service. The intern will participate in advanced formal training through weekly rounds with equine faculty and residents.

The intern is expected to provide direct patient care, interact with clients and referring veterinarians, participate in the instruction of students, and participate in scholarly activities.
