    Business Development Manager Engineering Services

    The Business Development Manager pursues and develops new and existing clients for industrial automation and engineering services within geographic territories and select accounts. Identifies, assesses, and qualifies engineering services opportunities and serves as the liaison with our customer throughout the sales cycle; from the initial call through design, sale, delivery, installation, acceptance, and follow through.

    Our engineers begin their journey with AMT as students in our Automation Academy where they received extensive training and mentoring from our industry experts.

    General responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop business opportunities and relationships with new and existing accounts
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to developing material and system solutions based on customer needs
    • Deliver awareness of AMT deliverables via formal presentations that build confidence with clients
    • Perform required tasks to support the bidding and execution of projects
    • Maintain and develop knowledge on a wide variety of material handling and automation solutions
    • Maintain and develop knowledge of the competition
    • Act as the principal customer liaison
    • Support and actively pursue marketing efforts to build brand awareness

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree (BSEE/BSME.) from four-year college or university and five to seven years of related robotic automation systems sales experience or equivalent training and experience
    • Computer proficiency; strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
    • Proficiency in CRM utilization for account and opportunity management. Hubspot CRM is a plus
