- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
- Welcome visitors and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and packages.
- Receive shipments and ensure that goods are checked and stored appropriately.
- Track shipments and coordinate with vendors to resolve any delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records in the inventory system to ensure asset tracking is up to date.
- Assist in creating and managing purchase orders based on the organization's needs.
- Ensure purchase requisitions are approved and completed.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm order status and delivery timelines.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly Excel, and experience with inventory management software.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous administrative or similar role
