    CompanyPrivately owned international specialty chemical distribution firm that values people, processes, and performanceThey've been in business for many decades and have grown tremendously over the last few yearsThey have a very strong presence coast to coast and internationally as wellThe owners are committed to growing the company for many years to comePosition Due to the aforementioned growth of the firm, they need an experienced technical account manager to develop, grow, and maintain business in the Southeast United StatesThis person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at multinational firmsThis person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in the coatings, adhesives, sealant, and elastomer (CASE) industryOwns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-termManages and owns the overall account relationship with customers and is the 'face' of the firm to the customerThe position is home-office based and about 25% overnight (regional) travel is requiredQualifications Four or more years of industrial sales experience is requiredSpecialty chemical distribution sales experience is highly preferredA four-year bachelor's degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)The company greatly values intellectual curiosityStrong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required#J-18808-Ljbffr
