    Your Mission:


    The Technical Services Advisor is a technical expert focusing on advising and mentoring our Partners during and after implementation of Medidata Products on our Unified Platform.

    Using your technical experience in building/configuring applications within the Clinical environment you will be a key member of the Medidata Technical Services team driving the successful implementation and adoption of one or more Medidata Products within our Partners.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Technical Architecture & Consulting:
    Serve as a technical architect, providing expert advice on complex system designs and architectures. Assess current technical environments and recommend improvements or innovations.


    Collaboration with Departments:
    Work closely with Sales, PreSales, Professional Services Market Segments, and R&D teams to understand their needs and challenges. Facilitate communication between these departments to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.


    Standardization and Innovation:
    Identify opportunities for standardizing current Technical Services offerings, enhancing operational efficiency.

    Propose new offerings by staying abreast of emerging technologies and market trends and taking into account client needs, Sales/Presales requests.


    Sales Education & Support:
    Educate and support the sales team about the company's technical offerings. Develop materials and conduct training sessions to enhance their understanding and ability to sell these solutions effectively.


    Liaison with TS Development Teams:
    Act as a bridge between the technical services development teams. Bring forward ideas and feedback for review and potential implementation.


    Project Oversight:


    Oversee projects from conception to implementation, ensuring that they align with business objectives and are delivered within time and budget constraints.


    Stakeholder Management:
    Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations.


    Continuous Learning:


    Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and provide the best advice and solutions.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Extensive experience in technical consulting, architecture, and project management.
    • Proven track record of successful collaboration with sales, R&D, and development teams.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead and mentor teams.

    • Strong Technical Engineering skills and Architecture, systems engineering experience.
    The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New Jersey.

    As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.

    Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New Jersey, may differ based on the local market data in that region.

    The base salary pay range for this position is $120,750 to $161,000.

    Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.

    Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
