    Position Summary

    COS Data Quality has oversight responsibilities of operations functions that typically have a high level of regulatory risk, monetary exposure and loss potential due to transaction size and daily production windows, which can impact client relationships. Role requires full working knowledge of Global Banking & Markets Operations functions and specific products/services managed.

    Employees in this role typically have prior Metrics Development, Data Analytics/Analysis, Risk Management and Operations Management experience within Global Banking & Markets Operations.

    Role Responsibilities:
    Responsible for consolidating, revising, and/or developing new metrics to measure performance of AML related controls
    Perform routine reporting for CODC Closures and Reporting and Global Markets Client Offboarding where needed/requested
    Perform data analytics (understand, manipulate and interpret) AML related data to execute on identified deliverables to include senior leadership update
    Interact with business partners and their support groups (Compliance, Audit, Finance, etc.), as well as external clients over the course of metric development, reporting, etc.
    Develop, review and rationalize various AML/OFAC metrics and develop comprehensive reporting
    Review metrics to determine if there are effective controls in place to address identified risk
    Analyze closure related data and create reporting as needed to highlight AML risks, opportunities, and/or escalate issues/trends
    Apply judgment and experience to determine related metrics for Financial Crimes for account level
    Perform routine reporting and data analytics for senior leadership and/or governance routines
    Support the Operations Executive with any requirements related to metrics, data analytics, and reporting
    Responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating tableau dashboard and/or reporting.

    Job Description:
    This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
    • Supports the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation
    • Implements optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
    • Conducts and coordinates quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness
    • Performs QA activities including executing on controls, managing cases, and reporting results
    • Executes initiatives by identifying areas of potential testing automation, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities to enhance QA program success
    • Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting

    Required Qualifications

    One year or more experience in both Tableau and SQL. Must be able to develop, update, and maintain metrics dashboard(s) and/or reporting

    Excellent verbal communication skills delivering comprehensive/concise status, reporting, metrics and or data analytics to leadership or project team(s).
    Must be able to work independently and prioritize time and/or work
    3-5 years of metrics managements and development/data analytics/business control experience/risk management/project management
    Identifies, analyzes, and resolves complex problems as it pertains to metrics, data and reporting
    Experience advising and communicating effectively with senior levels
    Working knowledge of AML related laws, rules, and regulation
