- Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
- Greet every customer you see in the store or walk within 10' of.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Count cash drawer at opening and close every day.
- Process customers quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
- Process cash, credit card, and charge transactions accurately following all company procedures.
- Attend training sessions to learn and keep current on products we sell.
- Assist with stocking of merchandise in the store.
- Listen and work with customers to solve customer's needs.
- Learn proper procedures for orders, special orders, purchase orders, credit memos, and invoicing.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Can stand for an extended period of time.
- Proficient in using computers and calculator.
- Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Can react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
- Ability to form strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
