    JOB SUMMARY

    As a member of the hotel management staff, contributes advanced knowledge and skill in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support the hotel and technology Information Resources objectives. This position is responsible for acting as the relief to the Property Systems Manager for all hotels regarding the technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance required at the time the person is needed at a particular location. May interface with vendors, Executive Committee and hotel staff as needed. Will be required to assist in various projects on an as needed basis.

    JOB SPECIFIC TASKS

    • Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge - Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
    • Demonstrating Knowledge - Demonstrating knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
    • Managing Equipment - Maintaining, inspecting and repairing equipment.
    • Managing According to SOP's and LSOP's - Monitoring processes and evaluating information according to SOP and LSOP requirements.
    • Communicating Information Timely - Informing and/or updating the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
    • Making Decisions and Solving Problems - Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
    • Managing Maintenance and Upkeep - Inspecting and ensuring the maintenance of the equipment or the environment.
    Candidate Profile

    Education: High school diploma or GED

    Related Work Experience: 2 years' experience in IT systems or related professional area.
