Palmetto Primary Care Physicians (PPCP) is a leading independent multi-specialty group practice in South Carolina, serving patients and communities since 1996. The group comprises over 100 clinical providers with expertise in primary and specialty care.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct physical exams, assess health status, order tests, prescribe medications, and treat illnesses under indirect physician supervision.
Lead and coordinate healthcare delivery of the physician's team to ensure optimal patient care services.
Identify medical problems by conducting physical examinations, recording patient histories, and preparing patient workups.
Provide direct patient care by coordinating appointments, explaining procedures, completing laboratory studies, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Monitor patient progress, maintain patient records, and consult with supervising physicians as needed.
Participate in research projects, prepare statistical reports, and improve patient care quality results.
Serve and protect the facility by adhering to professional standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant program or Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner program with certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).
Average 1-6 years of experience.
Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures, relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Nursing Skills, Administering Medication, Performing Diagnostic Procedures, Beside Manner, Dependability, Emotional Control, Teamwork, Verbal Communication.
State License and Current CPR certificate required.
