    Description


    Job PurposeExecute Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study, Detail Design).Key AccountabilitiesPreparation of design deliverables with consideration for applicable codes & standards.

    Prepare specification, technical evaluation, Supplier documentation review and expediting with Supplier.
    Perform calculations applying Electrical & Instrumentation engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and criteria for Ship Building designs.
    Interface with other departments to reflect the as -on-date input from other Departments as applicable.
    Maintain the required technical quality of work.
    Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process.
    Ensure that designs comply with the relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.
    Attend Factory Inspection reports.
    Progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.
    Capture all changes / modifications in the deliverables that have been intimated by project, prior to release of deliverable.
    Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any revision status.
    Attending project review meetings.
    Coordination with the other Engineering disciplines, Customer and Supplier.
    Ensure Supplier documentation received on time.
    Control of Quality of engineering documents regarding Quality assurance basis.
    Ensure compliance to HSE policies and procedures as applicable.
    Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.
    Responsible for change management & risk identification related to own assigned activities.
    Propose design improvements and lessons learned.


    Who we are looking for:
    Bachelor's degree in electrical / Instrumentation engineering.
    Preferred Any additional certification / courses in Engineering, AutoCAD, analysis software, 3D modelling /Courses in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
    Basic Engineering knowledge in the respective discipline.
    Awareness in international codes & standards, maritime regulations, and class rules.
    Knowledge on AutoCAD.Ability to cooperate within a multinational environment.

    Good communication and presentation skills.- 9 years in engineering design department of any offshore Ship Building or ship building industry, EPC contractor and/or Consultant.
