    Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

    Experience:


    • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.


    • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.


    • 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.


    • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).


    • This role will require floating to multiple units


    • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.


    • 6 months gap required between for Travel at Facility: James Cancer Hospital and Research.


    • No previous experience allowed for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Feeding tube care and management, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management
    Preferred Skills/Experience: Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Starting and maintaining IVs, Sepsis
    Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
    Shift & Scheduling: Weekends variable based on unit needs. No set/blocked scheduling. Self-schedule requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.
    Floating Requirements: Expected to float to other MedSurg Oncology units.

    Required Skills/Experience: Care of Patient With, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, IV Therapy/ Infusions, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Accessing/Managing Ports, Oncologic Emergencies, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Work Settings, Inpatient oncology, Chemotherapy, Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring

    Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

    Details:


    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

    14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
