Who: A business process outsourcing firm in Atlanta seeks a German-speaking Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage client accounting and payroll.
What: Prepare financial statements, tax returns, payroll, client consultation, and ensure compliance with deadlines and standards.
When: Full-time, on-site in Atlanta, GA.
Where: Atlanta, GA.

Job Description:
Provide accounting, payroll, and tax services to German-speaking US subsidiaries, including financial statements, tax filings, and client support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned client engagements and take ownership of accounting processes.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Process payroll and ensure timely reporting to clients.
Prepare sales, use, and personal property tax returns.
Communicate project status internally and externally to clients.
Research technical accounting issues and consult with manager/partner.
Perform additional duties as required to support client and firm needs.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting or higher, or German Steuerfachangestellte(r).
1-2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
German language fluency required.
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software required; Peachtree/SAP a plus.
Knowledge of US tax system and basic accounting principles.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, independent, and client-service focused.
Knowledge of US-GAAP and HGB a plus.
