    Evening/Night, Schedule: Evening/Night Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred Position Summary The Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) participates in patient care under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

    The ED Tech provides patient transport, hygiene and comfort measures, and cleans and restocks patient rooms. The ED Tech also performs secretarial duties necessary for the smooth functioning of the Emergency Department.


    Education:
    High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program required.


    Experience:
    Six months experience in a pre-hospital or acute care health setting preferred


    Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
    Washington State (DOH)

    Nursing Assistant certification required. American Heart Association BLS required.
