Maintains knowledge of corporate and foundation and development trends and institutional initiatives that may be potential sources of support for Dartmouth faculty and programs.
Ensures appropriate recognition and stewardship of corporate and foundation donors; partners with donor relations officers to determine nature of stewardship action(s) required and ensure timely completion.
Partners with Development Research to evaluate and qualify corporate and foundation prospects and works independently or with faculty to make outreach to corporate and foundation sources, including contact via email, phone, meetings, and/or by submitting a letter of inquiry or proposal, as appropriate.
Participates in long-range planning for assigned area(s) and for the Department of Corporate and Foundation Relations.Partners with Director to evaluate department and campus procedures in the corporate and foundation relations arena; recommends and implements changes to increase productivity and efficiency.
