The Nurse Manager of the Family Medicine Department is responsible for the administrative and clinical development of the Family Medicine nursing staff.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the daily management of the nursing staff, interdepartmental collaboration, supervising clinical workflows, overseeing and developing staff, and procuring and managing supplies.$10,000 for new full-time RN'sLeadership ResponsibilitiesHealth Center wide leadership meetingsDepartment leadership meetingsManagers meeting monthlyWorks collaboratively with the Administrative DirectorDirect reports to include Nurses.
Indirect reports through Operations Manager include Medical Assistants, and Support staff that are dedicated to the departmentResponsibilities:Development, updating, and implementation of departmental policies and procedureEvaluates and manages the workflow for maximum efficiencyCollaborate with the IT department for data reporting and validating IT reportsDaily management of nursing staff and patient flowAssists with customer service recovery as appropriateJob ComponentsEnsure compliance with all regulatory agencies including Joint Commission and DPH.Ensures annual clinical compliance of licensed and non-licensed clinical staff.
Educational RequirementsBSN preferred or in progressExperience RequirementsRequired:
Minimum of 3-5 years licensed nursing practice experience in an ambulatory care practice setting. Minimum of 2 years relevant management experience.
