    Summary:
    Primary Skillset needed:
    • Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong vendor provided REST API integration with monitoring and automation tools
    • In-depth knowledge of Programming Frameworks, Software Development Kit (SDK) and Programming languages Viz. Ruby or Python or Java Scripting and Shell Scripting
    • Experience of Cloud native integration using JSON, XML, YAML
    • Good understanding of BMC remedy workflows and XL release orchestration
    • Excellent Testing skills with hands-on test use case execution and troubleshooting
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality output.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Basic familiarity with ITIL and ITSM
    • Excellent written and speaking skills in English
    The Developer engineer is expected to produce high-quality software code and related documentation that contributes to streamline the Distributed Platforms Infrastructure Automation system/s. The Development engineer need to have:
    1. Solid development and integration experience of infrastructure component REST API with programming languages such as Ruby, Python & Java.
    2. Hands-on proficiency in API (REST, SOAP, XML) and scripting languages, such as JSON and YML.
    3. Deep understanding of XL release, BMC remedy & Rally.
    4. Experience in developing workflows based integration
    Key responsibilities:
    • The Development engineer is expected to write workflow for PR commit auto CRQ creation using XL release and remedy.
    • Should be comfortable working with developers, testing team, engineers, architects, and product managers.
    • Producing high-quality software codebase, scripts documentation for Distributed Platforms Program
    • Gather information from subject-matter experts towards technical and functional specifications and process documentation.
    • Work with stakeholders from EM, WiSE & DPLE teams
    • Implement integrations requested by Client customers and analyses information collected and summarize potential content
    • Develop scripts to automate provisioning, operations and visualization
    • Deploy updates and code fixes, bug fixes
    • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
    • Perform root cause analysis for production errors
    • Investigate and resolve technical issues
    • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
    • Producing high-quality documentation for Distributed Platforms Program
    • Build a comprehensive Standard operating Process (SOP) in Client format
    • Create and maintain the version control while operationalizing the Codebase
