    Description

    Job Responsibilities:
    Perform and manage geotechnical engineering investigations and studies
    Work closely with clients, including owners, architects, and other design professionals to determine project needs
    Prepare scopes of service, proposals, and budget estimates
    Work closely with project management and field staff to provide technical recommendations
    Train, mentor and guide graduate professionals
    Analyze field and laboratory data
    Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports
    Other duties include geotechnical plan review, business development, and attending project design and construction meetings when needed

    Qualifications:
    B.S. in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
    Utah PE registration is required.
    6 or more years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related discipline preferred
    Utah project experience preferred
    Must possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
    Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities
    Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
    Valid Utah Driver's License and clean DMV report are a must
    Willing to market to new clients
