- Directing perioperative anesthetic care
- Performing preoperative assessments
- Administering and monitoring intraoperative anesthesia
- Providing post-anesthesia care
- Delivering anesthetic care in various settings including OR, PACU, ICU, and clinic for general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, diabetic foot, and oral surgery, as well as cardiac and open-heart cases
- Assisting in managing CNRAs
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Hold a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine/surgery in the U.S.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology required

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join the team at Columbia VA Medical Center
The Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, MO is actively looking for a Staff Anesthesiologist who is Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesia
The Anesthesia Section is responsible for providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgery and other procedures, as well as pain relief services. The team includes CRNAs and Anesthesiologists.
Key responsibilities include:
The selected candidate will engage in electronic consultations to enhance access to care and collaborate with other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for Veterans. The Anesthesiology Section serves over 40,000 veterans across a wide area in Missouri and Illinois.
Work Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday with either 5/8th or 4-10s schedule. Light on-call rotation.
