Team Leader Equipment Operator - Florence, United States - Flochamber

Description

• High school diploma or GED supplemented by five (5) year experiences in heavy equipment operation, including at least two (2) years in utility construction and/or pipe laying
• Valid South Carolina Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• "C" Water Distribution License or ability to obtain within two (2) years of employment

The Team Leader Equipment Operator is responsible for operating backhoes and other special equipment in the installation, maintenance, and repair of the City's water/sewer/stormwater systems, and performs other utility maintenance work as required.

Must be able to operate heavy constructions equipment and a variety of trucks. Must be able to prepare required work records and reports with accuracy.

Must be able to perform all work in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, permits, and/or standards of quality and safety.
