Job DetailsJob LocationTBD DAYTONEssential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead and support technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems and thermal environment to establish the system design.
Lead and support activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements.Lead and support the assessment of system components' designs.
Track performance and documentation of analyses of mechanisms/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design.
Participate in interface requirement and design development.Participate in Technical and Interface Control Working Groups with the customer and suppliers.
Supports Risk and Opportunity processes and working groups.
Perform coordination of system-level technical reviews.
Perform resolution of cross-functional technical issues.
Supports trade studies and whitepaper development.
Train and coach less-experienced engineers.
Operate in a highly flexible work environment.
QualificationsQualifications:
Experience with military specifications.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance with program access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in aerospace, DoD engineering and manufacturing. Experience on wide body aircraft including, but not limited to, Boeing 767, 777 and 747. EducationB.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 5 years engineering experience, or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering plus 3 years engineering experience.
