Responsibilities Summary

This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families in a safe environment.

Nurses must possess strong leadership skills and effectively direct the nursing care team to ensure patient comfort and safety.

This role requires working in various patient care and operational areas, adhering to mandatory safety protocols, and participating in the Respiratory Protection Program.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) is preferred.
Clinical experience should enable the applicant to demonstrate competence in EKG rhythms by examination.
A minimum of 6 months of acute care experience within the last two years is mandatory for this position.
Unit-specific experience is beneficial but not compulsory.

Essential Qualifications

Current California Registered Nurse License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through AHA.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certificate through AHA for Surgery & Emergency Department positions.
