    Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer, this position provides leadership and guidance in all aspects of clinical care and ensures each site is operating at its highest level clinically.

    The Statewide Clinical Director manages the Regional Directors of Clinical Operations for the assigned state and accountable for the quality outcomes at each site.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSOversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnelOversees and assists the Chief Clinical Officer in budgeting and planning for each site and the state overall as well as ensuring adherence to the budget.

    Evaluates the performance of Regional Directors of Clinical Operations (RDCO) and overall accountability for recruitment and performance management of staff as needed.

    Provides guidance to the RDCOs for continuous improvement in all aspects of hospice care provided through the organization. Direct the RDCOs in managing of clinical teams and planning at each site. Reviews market analysis and changes with Statewide Executive Director predicting growth and census outcomes at each site. Understands operational indicators to detect census and volume and adjusts staffing/operations accordingly. Participates in state level hospice organizations and represents the organization at the state level. Oversees and ensures proper maintenance of clinical records throughout the state and responds to clinical record requests. Responsible for ensuring each site within the state meets quality measurement outcomes. Contribute to the development of organization goals, develops, recommends, and administers organization policies and procedures. Assures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of personnel. Assures each site follows CHAP Hospice standards and stay informed of regulatory/policy changes and ensures ongoing compliance. Participates in and responsible for each location QAPI completion/participation.

    Assists with the evaluation of organization performance via performance improvement program and assures for quality and safe delivery of hospice services provided through the organization.

    Responsible for complaint management and resolution throughout the state. Works with the Statewide Executive Director/Statewide Sales Director to develop and retain staff and resolve staffing shortages. Assists in the development of location in-service and continuing education programs to meet education and training needs. Collaborates with HR on ensuring compliance in HR records and files at each site. Reviews analytics/reports and interprets data for each site to enhance performance and results.

    Assists in the De Novo and Application process within the state and completes all required documentation and submissions to state and federal agencies.

    Assists in the planning and opening of new locations in the state within the required timeline.

    QualificationsRegistered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the assigned state Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program by the national league of nursing strongly preferred, master's degree in hospice preferred5 years of leadership experience and ability to lead across multiple different sites.
