Chesterfield Fence and Deck Company specializes in delivering high-quality home improvement projects, emphasizing providing top quality and customer satisfaction. We seek a skilled Lead Deck Installer to join our team and take charge of carpentry projects consisting of decks, handrailing and stairs
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage on-site carpentry tasks, including installation of decking, railing and stairs
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to address concerns and provide updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) of experience in deck installation
- Leadership skills to manage teams and delegate tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid class E driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay: $ $50.00 per hour
