    Ernest is currently in search of a

    Learning Management System Administrator

    for our corporate office located in

    Commerce, CA.

    This is a full-time position that offers a competitive pay rate, benefits, and a wonderful company culture.


    Position Summary:


    LMS Administrators are exempt, full-time employees at Ernest who work within the Learning and Development Department in the Corporate office.

    They are responsible for creating a culture of accountability around learning and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Absorb Learning Management System (i.e., Ernest University), ensuring a seamless training experience for all E-Teamers.


    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
    Experienced LMS Administrator with technical proficiency in system management and troubleshooting
    Strong understanding of learning and development principles
    Excellent communicator, skilled in navigating and resolving conflicts
    Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels
    Proactive self-starter adept at identifying and resolving issues with keen attention to detail


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience configuring Absorb LMS to match specific organizational needs
    Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and AICC e-learning standards
    Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles


    Responsibilities:

    System Administration:
    Proactively identify, communicate, and act upon LMS enhancement opportunities with appropriate stakeholders
    Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions
    Create, assign membership to and manage both groups and departments, ensuring they mirror the companys learning and operational structures
    Maintain venues, an electronic representation of physical meeting spaces

    Content Management:
    Collaborate with stakeholders in the creation, development, and assessment of a variety of course types in the LMS (e.g., online, virtual instructor led, curriculum, etc.)
    Upload and maintain all files in the LMS, ensuring SCORM/xAPI compliance, as needed
    Enhance the discoverability and accessibility of courses and files by implementing robust tagging systems, well-documented naming conventions, and other strategies to optimize search functionality
    Facilitate additional engagement opportunities for learners (e.g., post news articles, create collaborations, distribute polls, facilitate leaderboards, maintain FAQ pages, etc.)
    Conduct User Acceptance (UA) and Quality Assurance (QA) testing for all content/system updates
    Ensure all LMS content abides by Ernests brand guidelines

    Technical Support:
    Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting common issues (e.g., login difficulties, content access, system errors, etc.) in a timely manner
    Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and enhance integrations with external systems (e.g., HRIS, Zoom, Teams, LinkedIn Learning, etc.), while exploring additional integration opportunities that might further enhance the functionality of the LMS
    Foster and sustain effective partnerships with Absorb LMS staff to streamline the issue resolution processes

    Reporting and Analysis:
    Generate, schedule and send reports to identified stakeholders
    Utilize reports to analyze and communicate data insights, recommending actionable steps to enhance the learning experience for identified stakeholders

    Training and Development:
    Collaborate with others to train various user types (e.g., Learners, Instructors, System Administrators, etc.) on LMS features and functionalities
    Other Duties as Assigned
