    Description

    Job Number 665286BR Description:
    Responsible for daily flight, ground tests and maintenance requirements of F-16 aircraft
    Provide for the launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, and servicing
    Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and pneudraulic systems and components on the aircraft
    Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the airplane for ground, flight and flight test operations
    Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Experience with operational checkout of systems of an aircraft in one or more fields of specialization in structural, electrical, hydraulics and propulsion
    Experience with aircraft repair and modification
    Experience with aircraft ground handling and test equipment.

    Desired Skills:
    Military aircraft experience (F-16 preferred) Aircraft Mechanic / Aircraft craftsman A&P Lic
    A strong understanding of the maintenance process Experience with hydraulic systems, airframe modification, and wiring harness installation/trouble shooting.

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Schedule for this Position:

    Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week The base range for this position in California is $ $48.
