Roles & Responsibilities:
Frontline customer service
Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment for 253-bed skilled nursing facility
Effectively communicate with vendors to resolve supply/equipment issues
Receive, record and deliver parcels to multiple departments throughout building
Replenish nursing unit supply rooms weekly
Light troubleshooting of durable medical equipment
Assist with charging out supplies for billing purposes via supply charge-capture system
Disburse petty cash as needed and maintain accurate record of disbursements
Serve as back-up to the Materials - Support Services personnel when needed
Other duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
Adhere to purchasing guidelines and schedules
Effectively maintain inventories and ensure items are transported to appropriate destinations
Ensure confidential documents/items are transported safely and in compliance with facility policies and procedure
Qualifications:
Must possess basic computer skills and be familiar with basic office equipment
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver's License in the state of Virginia with a clean driving record
